Its that time of year, the time of family gathering. The time of being Thankful for what we have. Blessed for who we have in our life, the time to spend the day together, and realize what we really should be thankful for, our family our friends.

Its a good time to share our stories with our children, its time to enjoy our elders stories.

Its time to pack! going away for a weekend trip can be just the right thing for a pick me up this time of year, in goes some of my favorite clothes in my weekend bag from retrofied.

Love the colors and the calm just what I am looking for some calm and some fun. Enough room for all my clothes and goodies too.

I may head to the beach or to the trails and do some hiking. Its my weekend and all up to me what may come

Its time to Simplify

The days seem to go by so fast one minute we are starting the week and blink of an eye it seems boom the weekend is here.

Its time to take back some of the time and Simplify. Even if it is only a few little changes those little things can add up to a well deserved personal break, a time to remember a time to share. A time to just stop and take in the moment.

Of course now a days we need to be reminded it seems to take this time out for ourselves and what better way then with a sign to have on our shelf. I love the look of this sign by Irish Corkie Primitives. The look of age is a nice under statement that really time is precious and goes a little to fast now, and a good reminder to take that time out during the day.

How do we Simplify it could be just a change of a everyday routine. one less item to get at the store. Say you take the Facial Soap off the list and have it delivered to your home. It amazes me when people look at everyday things and create something wonderful unique from them, preserving them to history.

Its like owning a piece of history not only a handcrafted item.

Starting the weekend

The work week is done and time to start the day, hop out of bed to find my way to refreshing shower, and the wonderful smell and feel of my handmade soap from The Copper Cauldron soaps bamboo pear & Tarragon scent shall awaken me for the day, and no need for lotion on my skin because since I been using it the moisture of my skin is amazing.

Off to put some make up on cause we don't want to scare no one away. I grab the Flawless Face 7pc Mini kit from Lighthouse Minerals

Boy the feel of mineral makeup is so light and refreshing and since I have been
using it the skin feels so soft, and young looking. I always smile as I think of the complements I receive during the day, and the questions I get on how my skin looks so wonderful. Its a wonderful feeling knowing about the handmade make up and knowing what I am really using natural ingredients. What a wonderful thing to find such natural items on my computer. Its almost like having hidden treasures.

Now to figure what to wear its day of fun a day out for a walk and enjoying my time and my day off So something comfy but stylish and maybe a bit catchy to turn some heads. Yet a little fun and comfy to wear I think I will go with My Fleece wrapped dress from gaiaconceptions
It was a special treat for me and each time I put it on I feel so special and the feeling of the Day is here lets capture it .

Now what to finish it off with hmm something that completes the look and something so unique I know no one

A Handmade Autumn Night

Let me take you through a handmade autumn night.

Thinking of the fall nights that are upon us and wanting to relax, and stay snuggled. I want to come home and get ready for to relax what better way then to come in and start the water to a warm bath and lets add some some Pumpkin Bath Salts from Essanu ,what better way to take in fall with the autumn scent of pumpkin, the scent of the free room spray just fills the room, and the anticipation of the salts relaxing the body is so wonderful. As I finish my bath I step out and put my crochet slippers on from brokenhallelujah and slip into my Robe.
